Málaga Holy Week

29 March – 5 April 2026

Málaga’s Holy Week (Semana Santa) is one of the city’s most iconic cultural and religious celebrations, taking place this year from Sunday 29 March to Sunday 5 April. It’s a highlight of the spring calendar for visitors who want to witness traditional processions and artistic heritage in the heart of the city.

Throughout the week, numerous brotherhoods (cofradías) take to the streets with elaborate floats and religious images, creating a powerful cultural experience centred around the historic core of Málaga.

You can also visit the official Holy Week poster exhibition at the Museo Fundación Unicaja de Artes y Costumbres Populares, open daily with free access.
